3 Principles
There is no such thing as an individual without capacities; therefore there is no such thing as a poor person!
How can we empower the talents of EVERY person?
Everyone should be entitled to receive, as well as to give
3 Steps
A
Tell us what you want to achieve and the potential importance of it to others.
B
Show us what individual / group / project YOU are going to empower while supported from all of us.
C
Let our team and our members support you financially as well as in several other ways.
3 Benefits
01
A financial platform will be created for our candidates to receive funds from crowd – and other investors.
02
They will be empowered in their project by an extended group of supporters, visible in our web page: from lawyers and consultants to career experts, strategy advisers and psychologists – in addition to assistants, volunteers and brainstorming partners.
03
The most active volunteering supporters will have absolute priority to gain an OLBIOS membership themselves.
We will shortly submit this idea to you through a crowd funding campaign – starting in 100 days from now. Until then, it is YOUR proposals that will shape the OLBIOS Community!
All human beings possess capacities and talents of one sort or an other, and to that extent they are never poor: their talents, knowledge, experience, time and skills, their capacity to believe, value, choose, love and be loved, render them rich and enable them to achieve goals of their own but also to help others achieve theirs. Admiration of peoples’ capacities and awareness of their infinite potential is central to the OLBIOS approach.
For several reasons, every day, everywhere, an enormous social capital of talent and capacity is wasted for ever and for all of us. Let’s use the Internet to change this through the systematic empowerment of the capacities of every person that chooses to participate in OLBIOS. To achieve this goal, a mechanism that bridges the existing gap between peoples’ volition to act and the realisation of their wish, and neutralises the factors that holds them back is needed. A sharing of funds and skills must be organized in a way that will permit us to achieve our targets and do what we can do best. The Internet will really acquire meaningful purpose when it is used to reverse the double exclusion from the joy of achieving and the gratification of giving.
We believe philanthropy will soon include much more than the action of a few wealthy individuals and corporations; it will become the concern of everyone towards everyone. The “Crowd-philanthropy” model of the OLBIOS Social Fund is designed to profit everybody who has a strong desire to achieve a life goal and wants to help others achieve theirs; it takes the excellent idea of crowd funding platforms and uses it to increase directly personal AND social capacity; the more our members will empower others, the more they will be empowered themselves.
